The Hundred Years' War — The Hundred Years' War was a long struggle between the English and French crowns, fought in phases from 1337 to 1453 and remembered for battles including Crécy, Poitiers and Agincourt.

History behind the design

The conflict changed armies, kingship and warfare on both sides of the Channel. Famous English battlefield victories did not ultimately prevent a French recovery.
